What Are We All About?
Kadima is the Capital District's middle school, Jewish youth group, open to all 6th-8th graders.
Kadima is hosted by Temple Israel and Ohav Shalom synagogues of Albany, NY.
Throughout the school year, "Kadimaniks" participate in many
programs, both in and out of synagogue.
Programs range from rock climbing/spelunking to eating at a chocolate seder (modeled after a Passover seder, but with everything being substituted for chocolate products) to volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House.
Dan Scher is the advisor for Kadima. A school teacher in Schenectady, Dan has been the Kadima advisor since 2005. Please go to the "Contact Us" page to send Dan a message or question.
